Experience the thrill of being close to these magnificent creatures; witness their intelligence, their compassionate nature and the deep bonds they share with their human family. While the Elephant Handlers share their wealth of knowledge about fascinating elephant behaviour, enjoy a wonderful hour of touching and feeding the elephants, taking photographs and experiencing the incredible trust that has developed through gentle interaction.
Later in the afternoon, with a comfortable stable and a good meal waiting, the elephants delight in heading for home. Enjoy this amble with the elephants; walk with them, or saddle-up and enjoy the view from high above the trees. Become a welcome and privileged member of the Elephant group while they peacefully carry out their evening routine. Complete a magical experience with a sundowner drink while listening to the sounds of the elephants settling to sleep.
Please note that children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is over 21 years of age.
Guests will be given a safety briefing and will be required to sign an indemnity before meeting the elephant

While on holiday in South Africa, a South African friend had recommended a visit to Elephant Whisperer. We were traveling with my 89 yr young mother -in-law. She was thrilled at the experience of touching and learning so much about these majestic creatures. The presentation was beautifully done and there are no bad seats for viewing. The presenter provided so much educational material, doing so in an entertaining way as to capture the attention of all ages. I would strongly recommend to anyone that they include this on their trip. We stayed for the "Ride" after the presentation. this was a once in a lifetime treat. The host made sure everyone was comfortable and well suited for the ride. They take excellent photos with your camera and even some video. I was very pleased with the pictures I have from this even and to be able to share this with my husband and our "mom". - Christy

This was an absolutely fabulous experience! Myself, my husband and our three children came away with memories to really treasure. What we were most heartened by was the obvious respect with which the elephants are treated. It was an amazing learning opportunity, and very well run and managed. We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset experience, putting the elephants to bed and enjoying sundowners whilst hearing more about them.
