While the Elephant Handlers share their wealth of knowledge about fascinating elephant behaviour, enjoy a wonderful hour of touching and feeding the elephants, taking photographs and experiencing the incredible trust that has developed through gentle interaction.
After the interaction, set off into the African bush on an elephant for wonderful views of the elephant’s home. During the ride you are able to stop at any time to experience walking with the elephants.
After your elephant experience, enjoy a delicious 3-course lunch at Hippo Hollow Country Estate.

The elephant interaction was such an amazing experience. We learned alot about the elephants as well as being able to touch them and get right us next to them. We had our picture taken with them from all angles. The highlight of our time was riding one of the elephants. We ended our time with a fantastic lunch at Hippo Hollow which was all part of the package deal that we purchased. I highly recommend this experience. - Crystal

A very special experience. The opportunity to learn about elephants from such skilled handlers was fantastic. Riding the elephants (we had Tembo) was a once in a lifetime, and is highly recommended. We also had a lovely lunch at Hippo Hollow afterwards. - Jonathan
Wonderful experience. We were a bit afraid about animal conditions (abuse, chains, stress,...)but none of it : The Elephants were peaceful, calm and in a good interaction. We learned a lot about these beautiful animals. The animal caretakers were amazing with the Elephants. They care a lot about them and you see that they are one family all together. I would never ever understand those who want to hurt these animals to restrain their habitat and see them disappear. My family and I would never forget that magnificant Moment. The icing on the cake is the lunch at the Hippo Hollow : Waow. Beautiful and elegant place. Food is great and the staff is wonderful. We could see the elephants from the other side of the river.
